Downeast Coastal Conservancy's Pigeon Hill Preserve - DCC volunteers were busy last year expanding the trail system, thereby making this preserve an even more amazing destination for those looking to get out and enjoy some of this area's amazing scenic splendour.
Eagle Hill Institute - offering natural history courses, a public library specializing in natural history and the arts, walking trails, public programs, and more.
Schoodic Education and Research Center - located in the fantastically beautiful Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park, SERC offers a wide variety of public programs and science learning opportunities.
Arts, Culture, and Entertainment:
Sunrise County Arts Institute- offering ongoing programs and special events in music, theater, writing, visual arts, and interdisciplinary arts. Based in Milbridge.
VisitMilbridge.com - a great site for keeping up on things to do and see in the area, plus other fun and interesting features.
Schoodic Arts for All - grassroots arts and cultural organization that sponsors programs all year long and a wonderful 2-week festival jam-packed with workshops during the middle of summer.
