Every Monday - 1 to 3 pm - American
      Mah Jongg group. Beginners as
      well as experienced players
      welcome to join in the fun.
July 1st to 30th - Art in the
     Library: Barrie Latzko's paintings.
     Exhibit open during library hours.
July 21st - 10 am to Noon - Pop-Up Art
     Class with Elizabeth Dyak - Free -
     class size is limited so register in
     advance - ages 8 and up.
July 25th -8:30 am to 1 pm- Book,
     Bake, Plant, and Yard Sale. Be sure
     to come on by to pick up some
     great summer reading, delicious
     treats, and treasures for your
     home and garden. Note: we
     welcome donations of stuff (no
     clothes or old electronics, please)
     for the yard sale as well as plants
     and baked goods. If you have
     something to donate, contact
     Robin at 598-0468 or
     to arrange a date and time.
     Volunteers are needed on the
     day of the sale as well!

July 28th - 4 pm - Book Club meeting
     to discuss Where'd You Go
     Bernadette by Maria Sample.
     Copies of the book are available
     from the library. All welcome.
August 3rd to 31st - Art in the
     Library: Donna Pickard's hooked
     rugs and Tara Faye's handmade
     quilts. Opening reception from
     5:30 to 7 pm on Monday the 3rd.
     Exhibit open during library hours.
August 4th - 10 am - Let's Bark About
     It. Learn about Nemo the therapy
     dog and how to behave around
     strange dogs, with Elin MacKinnon
     and Jimmi Van Keuren. Free.
August 7th - 6:00 pm - Family Movie
     Night - Bark Ranger- 90 min. PG.
     Enjoy this family adventure in
     in which two kids and a trusty dog,
     Ranger, set out on the adventure
     of a lifetime in search of a
     forgotten gold mine. Shown on
     the library's new BIG screen with
     our new high-quality projector for
     a real movie theater-style
     experience! Free. Concessions
     available by donation.
August 11th - 10 am–Noon - Painting
     Class with Sandra Irwin- Free -
     class size is limited so register in
     advance - ages 6 to 9.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
