Moore for the Future Endowment Campaign

Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
     textile craft group. Knitters,
     crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
     are invited to join others who
     share their passion for fiber arts
     for open weekly gatherings in
     the Parlor room of the library.
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
     Mahjong group. Beginners as
     well as experienced players
     welcome to join in the fun.
June - During library hours - Art
    in the Library: Johanna Billings'
    photography.
July - During library hours - Art
    in the Library: Photography of
    Nancy McGinnis.
July 1st - 8:30 am to 1 pm - Book,
    Bake, Yard, and Plant Sale.
    You won't want to miss this
    annual event! Lots of treasures
    and treats to be had, plus shelves
    and shelves of great summer
    reads. All proceeds benefit the
    Library and Community Center.
July 6th - 7 pm - Talk - Maine
    Migrants Build America. Bob
    Sirois will highlight some of the
    fascinating examples of Maine
    citizens who resettled elsewhere
    in America and contributed to the
    building of our great nation.
    Light refreshements will be
    offered. Free admission.
July 7th - 6 pm - Movie Night -
    A Dog's Purpose. PG. 100 min. In
    this 2017 adventure comedy
    drama, a dog looks to discover
    his purpose in life over the course
    of several lifetimes and owners.
    As always, the movie is free and
    refreshements are sold by donation.
July 12th - 10 am - Magic Show.
    Conjuring Carroll will present an
    entertaining and motivational
    show he calls "Buidling Blocks",
    based on reading, strengths, and
    values. Free. All welcome.
July 16th - 11:30 am to 1:30 pm -
    Lobster Fest. This event is a
    highlight of the summer not to
    be missed. Delicious fresh
    steamed lobster dinners! Children's
    activities. Pie sale. All to benefit
    the Moore for the Future
   
endowment campaign.
July 18th - 4:00 pm - Book Club.
    Will discuss The Housekeeper and
    the Professor by Yoko Ogawa.
    Copies of the book are available
    from the library. Free and open
    to all.
July 19th - 10 am - Painting Ceramics
     for Kids. A fun craft workshop for
     children.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
