Moore for the Future Endowment Campaign

Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
     textile craft group. Knitters,
     crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
     are invited to join others who
     share their passion for fiber arts
     for open weekly gatherings in
     the Parlor room of the library.
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
     Mahjong group. Beginners as
     well as experienced players
     welcome to join in the fun.
July - During library hours - Art
    in the Library: Photography of
    Nancy McGinnis.
July 18th - 4:00 pm - Book Club.
    Will discuss The Housekeeper and
    the Professor by Yoko Ogawa.
    Copies of the book are available
    from the library. Free and open
    to all.
July 19th - 10 am - Painting Ceramics
     for Kids. A fun craft workshop for
     childrenage 5 and up. Kids can pick
     a ceramic owl, shark bank, fish
     planter, or rainbow trinket box to
     paint. It should be lots of fun and
     it?s FREE. The class size will be
     limited so it will be first come,
     first served.
July 20th - 5 to 9 pm - Downeast Jazz
    and Friends, featuring Frank
    Fredenburgh, John Gallagher, and
    Andrew Clifford, along with some
    some special guests. Contemporary
    Jazz and swing, jazz standards, and
    tunes form the Great American
   
Songbook will comprise the
    program. Free.
August 4th- 6 pm- Family Movie.
    Smurfs: the Lost Village. PG. 91
    min. Animated adventure in which
    the lovable and popular smurfs race
    against time and an evil wizard to
    find a mysterious village. Admission
    is free and refreshments (some of
    which are sure to be blue!) are
    sold by donation.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
