Moore for the Future Endowment Campaign

Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
     textile craft group. Knitters,
     crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
     are invited to join others who
     share their passion for fiber arts
     for open weekly gatherings in
     the Parlor room of the library.
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
     Mahjong group. Beginners as
     well as experienced players
     welcome to join in the fun.
Through March - Art in the
     Library: Bruce Cassady's recent
     work. Exhibit open during
     library hours.
March 10th - 6 pm - Movie Night -
     Pete's Dragon. PG. 103 min.
     The movie tells the story of a
     mysterious 10-year-old boy, Pete,
     who turns up claiming to live in
     the woods with a giant green
     dragon. Shown on a big screen.
     As always, the movie is free and
     refreshments are sold by donation.
March 17th - 5:30 pm - St. Patrick's
     Day Dinner. Delicious food and
     great company, plus the music of
     The Flahertys. Seating is limited
     to 60. Tickets are $15 per person
     and children under age 6 are free.
     Tickets may be purchased in
     advance at the library or
     reservations can be made with
     Maggi Kovacs at 207-546-0404.
March 19th - 3 pm - Winter Concert
     and Art Seriest John and Rachel
      Nicholas will perform American
     folk music and acoustic rock,
     with original songs and lyrics that
      tell stories deep and true. Krissy
      Tatangelo will display her
      handcrafted jewelry. Admission
      by donation.
March 25th - 1:30 pm - Dot and Dash.
     Learn coding with Dot and Dash,
     the amazing robots who offer a
     fun and engaging way to learn the
     basics of computer coding. There
     will be an opportunity to sign up
     for future play/coding sessions.
     Geared towards children, but
     open to all.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
