Moore for the Future Endowment Campaign

Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
     textile craft group. Knitters,
     crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
     are invited to join others who
     share their passion for fiber arts
     for open weekly gatherings in
     the Parlor room of the library.
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
     Mahjong group. Beginners as
     well as experienced players
     welcome to join in the fun.
August - During library hours - Art in
    the Library: The work of Linda
    Yaroch.
August 15th to 17th- 10 am - Fun
     with Legos. Come help build the
     Steuben village using legos. For
     ages 5 and up. Free.
August 19th- 5 pm - Silent Auction
    and Bean Supper. The auction runs
    from 5 to 6 and will feature a wide
    selection of desirable items to bid
    on. Attendees can enjoy hor
    d'oerves, snacks, and punch. The
    supper follows at 6 with a menu
    that includes baked beans, mac
    and cheese, hot dogs, cole slaw,
    corn muffins, and gingerbread with
    whipped cream. All proceeds to
    support the Library and Community
    Center.
August 22nd- 4:00 pm - Book Club.
    Will discuss New Mercies by Sandra
    Dallas. Copies of the book are
    available rom the library. Free and
    open to all.
August 25th- 1 to 2pm- Ice Cream
    Party. Bid the summer a fond
    farewell with yummy ice cream and
    free books for children.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
