Moore for the Future Endowment Campaign

Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
      textile craft group. Knitters,
      crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
      are invited to join others who
      share their passion for fiber arts
      for open weekly gatherings in
      the Parlor room of the library.
Every Wednesday - 10 am–noon -
      Coloring for adults. Books, pencils,
      and markers are available at the
      library or bring your own. Not just
      for children anymore—"coloring
      has therapeutic potential to
      reduce anxiety, create focus, and
      bring about more mindfulness".
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
      Mah Jongg group. Beginners as
      well as experienced players
      welcome to join in the fun.
August - Art in the Library: Wayne
     Snyder's Creative wood art.
     Exhibit is open during library hours.
August 24th - 10 am - Paper Airplane
     Fun. Free for kids of all ages.
August 27th - 5 pm - Bean Supper.
     Beans, mac and cheese, coleslaw,
     corn muffin, hot dog, gingerbread
     for desert. Come out for some
     good down-home cooking and fun
     socializing whiel supporting your
     local library and community
     Center. By donation.
Spetember 2nd - 3 to 5 pm - Bess the
     Book Bus, Darlings Ice Cream
     Truck, Giving Tree Music, face
     painting, and popcorn. Stop by
     the Camden National Bank and
     Bayside parking lots to get free
     books and enjoy some treats.
September 9th - 6 pm - Family Movie
     Night - Kung Fu Panda 3 - 958 min.
     PG.This 2016 animated action film
     continues Po's "legendary
     adventures of awesomeness" in
     which he must fact 2 hugely epic
     threats. Shown on the library's new
     BIG screen with our new high-
     quality projector for a real movie
     theater-style experience! Free.
     Concessions available by donation. September 20th - 4 pm - Book
     Discussion Group. The Nightingale
     by Kristen Hannah. Copies are
     available at the library. Light
     refreshements provided.
     Everyone welcome!

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
